Blank note / drawing book that is printed all around with a photo of the ordinary ash from ARTIS. The ordinary ash has a thick black bud at the end of the branches that is velvety to the touch. Although the tree seems very familiar in the Netherlands, it is nevertheless endangered. 80% of the ordinary ash trees are contaminated with Chalara fraxinnea. This fungus can be deadly to the tree. It is estimated that only one in ten ordinary ash trees continues to live in the Netherlands.
